Thai Thai Restaurant - Bishop, CA

We finally found a fantastic Thai restaurant in the area - Thai Thai in Bishop.  It is a bit off of the beaten track, but Bishop is a small town, so it's not too far and more than worth the trip.  We stopped in for lunch on a Friday, and got a window seat with beautiful views of the mountains and tiny Bishop airport.

We started with the summer rolls, which came with the generous portion of four to an order.  Unfortunately, we were all so hungry that only one survived when I remembered to pull the camera out.

My wife and I split the green curry, again a delicious meal!

Our son had the Pad Thai, which was the highlight of the meal, and which we had difficulty convincing him to share.

There are many reasons that will bring you through Bishop, CA - you have to drive through it to get to Mammoth Lakes from the south, the gas can more than 25% cheaper in Bishop than farther north on 395, you might want some of the world's best jerky, etc.  When one of these things inevitably happens, make sure and stop in at Thai Thai!  While there is no alcohol sold, you can BYOB for dinner if you'd like.
