Arches National Park - most photogenic?

Arches National Park, even closer to Moab than Canyonlands, is perhaps the most photogenic park we've visited.  The combination of arches, and fins, and bulbous sandstone formations seems to offer amazing and bizarre vistas at every turn.

My son and I decided to do the Delicate Arch walk in the morning while our fairer family member stayed back to work.  I began to wish we had gotten to bed earlier the night before about 2/3 of the way to the arch.

Fortunately, a bit of water and a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup revived him, and we trekked the rest of the way to the arch without incident.

Delicate Arch is amazing, and as usual the pictures don't do it justice.  Here are views from a number of angles.  That's us under the arch!

Someone next to us dropped their water bottle into the pit, so it provided a good excuse to climb down and collect trash...and then find a different route out.

With the morning hike over, we picked up Mum and broke for lunch at Eklecticafe in Moab.

Satay...

Cheddar beer soup!
 ...and a gyro on a gluten-free wrap.

Properly fortified, we headed for Landscape Arch and Pine Tree Arch, among others.

Walking back, the vistas are dramatic...but not so dramatic that it stops our son from tossing a little sand into the air to see...well, to see something.

On the way out of the park, we snap a shot of Balancing Rock...

...and of the sunset over the "Petrified Dunes" with the snow-capped La Sal Mountains in the background.
