Zion National Park - Kolob Canyon

With the weather turning cold and rainy, we decided to head up to Kolob Canyon and see if it was snowing at higher altitude.


We did find a bit of snow on the peaks here.  You would think that after ten days of looking at red rocks, the crew would be underwhelmed by looking at...another canyon surrounded by towering red rocks.  From their expressions below, you can tell this is not the case!

We are getting a little giddy and starting to name the rocks, such as "butt crack rock" below.


In case you're wondering, real estate bargains abound.  For example, the sign below reveals that homesites in this development used to cost $100,000, but now you can have the homesite AND the home for one low price!
